AST - Alcohol Server Training is a service provided by Insight Productions, Inc., a 37-year old professional, technical, and skills training company located in Beaverton, Oregon. Our classes are presented by professional state-certified trainers who have real world experience in the hospitality business. We have provided OLCC certified Alcohol Server Education classes for 15 years.

You must complete your permit application and pay the permit application fee on the OLCC web site. You can do that before the class (preferred) or at our class. You will also take the final test online, and we will  help you if you have any problems.

Please bring your smart phone, tablet, or laptop and we will walk you through the steps and details of getting your permit. If you don’t have your own device, we can provide WiFi access and a laptop or tablet that you can use at the class to complete your application and take the final test.

When you come to our class we’ll make sure everything is done correctly, so you can be sure you will get your permit as quickly as possible. When you call to schedule a class we’ll send you a list of the things you must do and what you need to have at the class to complete everything.

We’ll do our best to make the process as fast and painless as possible.

AST classes in English can be scheduled seven days a week at our Beaverton Training Center. We also offer a Spanish language class one day each month at our Beaverton Training Center. Sometimes more than one Spanish class is available each month and sometimes we have private Spanish classes at various business locations. Private and Responsible Vendor Program compliance classes can be scheduled for any day of the week at your business, or at our training center in Beaverton. Ample free parking is available for every class.

We are a short drive from nearly everywhere in the greater Portland area via I-5, US 26, and Hwy. 217. We are on several direct bus routes, and a seven minute ride from the Beaverton Transit Center.
