We offer private classes for your staff at our training facility in Beaverton or at your business. We usually request a minimum of ten attendees for classes at your business, but exceptions can be made. The minimum number depends on distance from our training center and other factors. Private class tuition varies with distance, timing and special requirements. Please call for details.

We are also interested in ongoing arrangements to ensure that your employees receive consistent, reliable, quality alcohol server training and refresher training at competitive prices. ID/Intervention/RVP Compliance classes

Would you like your staff to improve their intervention and ID checking skills? If they don’t need to take the entire OLCC server education class we offer an alternative solution. AST now offers one- or two-hour customized training sessions either at your business or our training center.

Our “ID/Intervention” and RVP compliance classes are highly motivational. We focus on practical ID checking and intervention skills, such as refusals, handling difficult customers, and slowing and stopping service while keeping the experience as positive as possible for everyone - especially your customer.

Practical, hands-on and multimedia ID/Intervention training provides a realistic and interesting way for servers and managers to learn fast, effective techniques for checking IDs. With a little practice, your servers should be able to check an ID and spot an alteration in just a few seconds - nearly every time!

OLCC uses the Responsible Vendor Program (RVP) to encourage liquor licensees to train their employees on a regular basis - four times a year. If you get an OLCC citation you may have thousands of dollars in sanctions mitigated (reduced) through RVP compliance.

We can provide one hour classes at your business four times a year; each quarterly training session is customized for your business. Each session covers all required topics plus skills training in the use of excellent customer service to recognize minors and intoxicated customers. Your employees will learn ways to refuse illegal sales that minimize conflicts with customers and interruption of business.
